Cerillo’s Device Manager Software

Step 1: Download

Click the link above and download the software as a single executable file. Save it anywhere you’d like. You can move this file to a computer different from the one you downloaded it on, if you would like.

Step 2: Install

Launch the downloaded software. It will automatically install and launch itself. It will also create a shortcut to the software on the current user’s desktop. You can delete the originally-downloaded installer .exe file at this point.

Step 3: Run

When you want to run the Cerillo software, simply launch it from the desktop shortcut or the Start menu.

Step 4: Use

Once the software is running, you can plug in your Stratus (if it isn’t already plugged in), wait for it to boot (the status LED will turn white and then blue or off), and click the “Scan” or “Get Devices” button in the software. Each Stratus plugged in to the computer will appear with a control panel allowing you to control it and access its information and onboard files.

If any device appears with a message indicating that a firmware update is required, please contact support@cerillo.bio.

Run into trouble?

Contact us at support@cerillo.bio with any questions or comments!

If the Cerillo Device Manager software is not finding the Stratus, try the following:

  1. Ensure that you are using the USB cord which came with the Stratus. At the very least, it must be a USB-2.0 cord, not USB-3.x.

  2. Double-check that the cord is plugged all the way in at both ends

  3. Verify that the Stratus boots completely; after plugging it in, its status light should turn white and then off (or a dim blue).

  4. Try installing an FTDI driver. This is not necessary in most cases. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
